New Season Denim

What I feel like is a nice new denim jacket. A new A/W one that'll see me through the upcoming season in style! But there's so much to choose from! I'm talking fleece collars/dark colours/jersey sleeves/gilet styles. Oh! And it HAS to be Topshop! (I just adore that shop! And the jacket quality seems excellent!)

Discount Dilemmas

I'm in the middle of a huge panic right now! The Asos 15% discount ends at midnight tonight and I can't decide whether to buy these boots (also seen in a post a couple of days ago). I love them but at the same time I'm still not 100% sure they'd suit me/I'd got a lot of wear out of them. I was going to wait a bit longer before deciding but then I miss out on the discount (AWSTYLE15 by the way) and I'm always regretting it when I don't go for discounts (take the recent Models Own 50% off for example). Such a big dilemma!

A Few Favourites

A couple of things today:

First up, I thought I'd share with everybody one of my absolute favourite online brands: Aqua. I think their dresses are such amazing statement pieces! What to wear if you want to get noticed!

I simply adore the unique structuring and block colours and all their best pieces are available on Asos.


Next, I'd like to stress how excited I was when I heard H&M were opening an online site for the UK. It's always bugged me that they haven't had one since I love theyre stuff but can never find any of the good stuff good in the shops. They're always so cramped, unorganised and generally uninspiring. But that'll all change when they arrive online :D

I recently bought a whole load from hannahmakesthings. They do such cute jewellery,and their stock seems to have widely expanded recently. I'm loving their new watch necklaces,too. I want that apple!

Bloggin' 'n' Cloggin'

Last February, when I first saw evidence for the clogs trend, I was pretty sceptical. It took a while for them to grow on me, but eventually, in July, I bought a sweet little Topshop mid-heel pair in tan (right):
Regrettably, I seem to have missed the boat, as I had barely bought them before they stopped being stocked.
The summer is over and the simple clog trend went with it!

The new clogs on the block have shearling (below left-River Island) or laces or they're knee-high.

I have considered stitching a thick line of shearling to my now some-what boring looking clogs but I'm worried about ruining them.

I guess the clogs will just have to become another regretful splurge tucked away into the closet where they will wait, hoping to come back into fashion.

And the moral: only buy hot new trends fresh! And only if you see think they'll stick around!

Bring on the Autumn!

Hi and welcome to my blog. I'm a 15 year old girl with absolutely no blogging experience but I figure I'll give it a shot. I intend to make the effort to post as much as possible, hopefully always with something interesting/unique.

In this, my first ever post I shall go through my A/W 2010 Wishlist:

1) Firstly I have a feeling that heeled lace-up boots are going to become something of an essential of mine. Asos do a great range:

I especially love the first ones (top left). Wedges seem so much more practical than heels and the shearling fold-over is spot on for autumn. They also come in two other colours (black and rust).

2) Next on my list is some gorgeous 50s dresses, as seen on the Louis Vuitton catwalk. However, the around £1800 price tag doesnt quite fit my pocket-money budget. Not only that but midlength skirts dont quite work for my petite 5ft 1in frame. I'm to look for short 50s-inspired alternatives.

3) Leather shorts are an autumn must! I've been on the lookout for some such as these:

 River Island

But, I've been rather taken by these great suede ones from Topshop, instead (right).

4) Tailored trousers are another one of my autumn lusts and I especially favour tapered/ peg-leg/utility styles. Though, to my dismay, Topshop no longer seem to be stocking the pair I had my eyes on :(. Not to worry though, since there are so many pairs around. Some of my favourites are below.

5) I've decided to refine and sofisticate my look by use of sheer blouses, one of my A/W essentials.

6) Leopard print! The instant autumn update to any outfit! Enough said. :D (left-warehouse, below-matalan)
